Facepunch are due to release the next monthly update on Thursday 3rd of November and I have been looking into what might and might not be included in the update, here is what I have found out so far.
Caboose, Blackjack, Prototype 7 / burst module and maybe RC Drones.
Halloween Update Ends.
That's right as of the 3rd of November the Halloween update will be turned off, the next similar event should be the Christmas event which will, I presume will mean the return of Santa's Sleigh dropping the giant golden present, and gift boxes spawning near players.
Caboose
Currently on the staging branch is the new above ground rail network carriage for us to use, the caboose, Unlike any of the other carriages on the network this one has some fun games for you and other players to enjoy.
Included in the caboose is not only a 4 seat poker table, and 2 slot machines, but also a new card game Blackjack, the caboose has some cool lighting and it can be attached to an engine for some mobile fun, unfortunately there are no safe zones around this caboose, so there is opportunity for the server players to ambush the mobile casino!
Blackjack
This old favourite gambling game is here, yet another way for you to loose all your hard earned loot, Players can play against the house betting on card deals that do not exceed a card value total of 21, this game can be played solo or with 2 other players at one time.
Prototype 17 pistol and burst module
For all you gun loving players out there, you once again getting a new weapon, the Prototype 17 pistol looks like a Glock gun carries 18 rounds in its magazine, and has a burst mode module, at present the burst module lets you fire in 3 round bursts, but this may be changed, it also lowers recoil to improve accuracy.
User controlled Drones - maybe?
There have been a number of commits this week relating to the Remote Controlled Drone, as you know these machines were initially brought into the game in February 20221 and were solely there to help players make purchases from distant shops and were used in conjunction with the marketplace machines. From the commits it looks as though players will be able to control drones from a computer station, information on these is limited so they may or may not make it into the November update, fingers crossed.
