Chat emoticons and more!

Well the forced wipe update is almost upon us, so ive had a bit of a dive into what we can expect from the devs this month.

If you remember during the recent "Hack Week" which see's the game programmers putting forward ideas that they would like to work on within the game, and every now and then some of them eventually make its way into the game, and this month it looks like chat emojis' will be heading our way.

On AUX2 players are getting the initial look at the new chat emoji system, these are not some of your standard type emojis' but some custom animated ones developed for the game, players are also to use any item name as an emoji too.

Im not certain this will make it into this months wipe but you never know!

Shipping Container Building Skin.

It's almost certain to be arriving this wipe, the new Shipping Container building skin, looking and the commits for this they have been busy all month and recently there has been a flurry of updates presumably to get it ready for wipe.

Different from the Adobe building skin, this new skin can be edited giving players a choice of 16 different colours to choose from which is selected using the spray can, also upgrading a block to the container skin will automatically use the last colour selected, and if you haven't chosen any colours yet it will pick one at random.

There has also been some work done that may indicate further changes that include inside wall colours but I've not seen any images yet relating to this.

Map markers

There have been a number of fixes and some upgrades coming to the new map marker system these include:

  • Added a list of marker to the top left of the map view, you can click to focus on the markers or delete them here.

  • New markers will select the next unused colour.

  • Some fixes to markers that stayed on the map when changing server maps.

  • Fixed being able to add markers too close to other markers, there was an issue adding markers because the cursor was hovering over another marker.

That's all I have for you so far, as always there are also a number of other fixes etc, much of which relate to issues left over from the last update, but If I get any other information I will update you as soon as possible.
