New monument - Ferry Terminal.
At last the new Ferry Terminal has appeared on staging, apart from a few loot spawns dotted around, plus stairs down to the Underground Railroad this monument presently doesn't really offer much to the player, however I believe that in future updates this will be incorporated into the server to server transfer system (NEXUS) that facepunch have been working hard at, players will be able to travel from one server to another with their gear using a boat.
Tugboats - the new way to get around on the ocean surrounding Rust Island.
The latest method of transport is also live on staging and this is going to be a fun addition.
It looks as if there are a few spawn points around the island for these to be taken, at present there is no way to purchase them but that may or maynot change, the spawn points look to be in or around the harbors.
In addition to just being a form of transport the tugboat can also be used as a mobile spawn point as players will be able to place bags/beds inside the lower deck cabin, not only that but you will able to place lockable doors on both the bridge of the tug and the cabin.
What's even cooler is the fact that you will be able to deploy a number of items inside and on the decks of the tug. currently you cannot add anything electrical or a TC but most other things are ok.
I do wonder if there will be an electrical output coming to the tug in the future, i think this because on the control panel of the tugboat there is an orange panel that displays your fuel level, speed and also an amperage reading which displays a reading of 23 when the engine is powered on, keep your fingers crossed for this.
New Hazmat Deep Sea Diver skin.
Yep another new skin for Hazmat Suit is on its way, along with a matching skin for the AK and some tools.
